Emma Corrigan is a young woman living in New York City. She is in a boring relationship with an awkward man, and hopes to be promoted to marketing executive at Panda, a large and successful organic energy drink company with offices in New York. On a return flight from a botched client meeting, she mistakenly reveals all of her deepest secrets to a handsome stranger when her plane hits turbulence and she believes she is going to die. Emma thinks she will never see the guy again. But when she comes to work Monday morning, Emma’s office is abuzz about the arrival of Jack Harper, the company’s elusive CEO and founder, who is on a weeklong visit to the NYC branch. Suddenly Emma is face-to-face with the stranger from the plane, a man who knows every single humiliating detail about her.
